Richard Jolley, Environment and Sustainability Manager, Sycle

Sycle is an integrated waste management company, remanufacturing recovered materials into sustainable products. Sycle’s approach combines infrastructure, innovation and investment to close the loop on waste — building the systems Australia needs for a truly circular economy.

As Environment and Sustainability Manager at Sycle, Richard leads strategy across infrastructure and resource recovery projects, supporting teams to navigate EPA regulations, manage risk, compliance obligations, and lead new permit and approvals applications.

Richard Jolley is a seasoned environmental professional with over a decade of experience in waste management, land contamination and regulatory compliance. Previously, Richard held a senior role at Repurpose It, where he played a pivotal role in driving environmental compliance and risk management initiatives. He also worked as a land contamination consultant on government and private sector projects, including environmental audits for complex sites and major projects of state significance.

Richard holds a double degree in Environmental Engineering (Honours) and Environmental Science from RMIT University. He brings substantial experience in the waste and contaminated land industries, underpinned by a systems-focused approach, and strong working knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act and Regulations.
