Murray Butterworth, General Manager of Recycling, Alex Fraser Recycling

Murray Butterworth oversees the recovery and manufacture of materials across five facilities in Victoria and Queensland, processing more than 3 million tonnes of material per annum.

Murray is a proven business leader with 29 years of experience with Hanson Australia. As a key member of Hanson’s Southern Region Leadership Team since 2003, he has held roles in Sales and Marketing, Operations Management, Risk Management and Customer Service Teams Management.

Murray holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Uni of Tas), MBA (UNSW/AGSM) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
