  ‘VICTORIA’S NEW CONTAINER DEPOSIT SCHEME’

  To support Victoria’s Circular Economy, the Victorian Government is introducing a Container Deposit Scheme that will deliver more recycling, less waste and less litter.

  With the scheme commencing in 2023, the coming 12 months will be spent making laws, appointing participants, negotiating contracts, and establishing collection points across, so that the CDS interacts effectively with Victoria’s kerbside recycling system.

  To help members understand the CDS, the VWMA will be holding a breakfast briefing featuring:
