  Empowering leaders in a new marketplace

  April 20 at Leonda

  On 20 April, the Victorian Waste Management Association (VWMA) will hold its Annual Conference at Leonda in Hawthorn. The theme of the conference will be; ‘Empowering leaders in a new marketplace’. In a new one-day format, the conference will run 8 30am until 5 30pm, delivering key information necessary to thrive in the new waste marketplace.

  Invited to present at the event include key government leaders, regulators, industry technical experts, and key suppliers. The conference will deliver;

  The critical information needed for waste managers to meet their compliance requirements under the new Environmental Protection Regulations 2018, including licences and permits.

  Summarise key government programs and funding opportunities available under Recycling Victoria.

  Assists managers with other key obligations including industrials relations advice, safety programs, and ICT improvements.

  Presentations from key industry suppliers on new technology and tools.

  The day event will be followed by a relaxing conference dinner in the Leonda garden room from 6 30 to 9pm, including entertainment. So don’t miss out on this important opportunity to network and learn about leading industry trends.
